In order to avoid short-range collision or scratching of AGV equipment during driving, a number of 2D lidars can be installed on the bottom periphery of AGV equipment to dynamically monitor the area.

According to the actual needs of users, the lidar can be installed at the front end of the AGV equipment, or on both sides or diagonally. Normally, 2 lidars can achieve safety in a 360° range.

When the ST-10/20 LiDAR performs the anti-collision and obstacle avoidance function, once there is an obstacle intrusion in the preset warning area, the LiDAR will output the corresponding switching signal to trigger the sound and light alarm of the AGV system, as well as the functions of deceleration and braking.
