The intelligent Internet of Things perception system realizes all-weather uninterrupted monitoring of key facilities or equipment through online detection of targets through front-end lidar, combined with wireless data transmission system and big data analysis. Here we take subway settlement monitoring as a case study. The following figure is a schematic diagram of the approximate installation of the equipment when monitoring the settlement and deformation of the subway.

Because the subway tunnel is in a fully enclosed operation state for more than two-thirds of the day, and the monitoring personnel are absolutely not allowed to work in the tunnel, it is required to set up an automatic monitoring system in the tunnel instead of manual operation to realize continuous and accurate monitoring of the horizontal and vertical displacement of the tunnel.

Complete automatic dynamic monitoring system refers to the realization of automatic observation, recording, processing, storage, report preparation, early warning and forecasting and other functions without operator intervention, it consists of a series of software and hardware, the whole system configuration includes: SDB laser ranging sensor (or SDC), measurement and control terminal (GPRS), communication cable and power supply cable, computer and special software.
